A spiritual encounter with the universe

I am a  fan van this American astrophysicist and cosmologist. No idea who Neil Degrassi Tyson is? Take a look at his wikipedia-page. This is what he says about spirituality:

“For me, when I say spiritual, I’m referring to a feeling you would have that connects you to the universe in a way that it may defy simple vocabulary. We think about the universe as an intellectual playground, which it surely is, but the moment you learn something that touches an emotion rather than just something intellectual, I would call that a spiritual encounter with the universe.”

Hear hear. As above, so below. As within, so without.

Funny thing: don’t listen to Neil when it comes to astrology. He thinks it is BS, he’s not a “believer”. Nor am I, by the way. It is a symbolic language, not a religion. Let’s just say he’s not well informed on this subject matter. 😉
